TOPSoccer Program
"The best day of the week is TOPSoccer day." TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a mental or physical disability.
This free program pairs athletes with special needs 1-to-1 with a player volunteer for buddy-assisted drills and scrimmages. Players, buddies, and parents alike will all tell you that their favorite day of the week is TOPSoccer day.
Why TOPSoccer
We want all youth in the area that have a desire to play soccer the opportunity to play soccer. At times competitive team sports may be challenging for those with physical, cognitive, or emotional special needs. So we seek to provide an inclusive, buddy-assisted program that allows those with special needs the opportunity to play, grow, and have fun with the sport that we all enjoy.
