LUFC Club History

Club History

Lakeshore United FC (LUFC) is a nonprofit organization formed in 1985 to facilitate the youth soccer experience.  It began with recreational teams and has grown into a club that provides youth of all abilities opportunities to learn, grow, and mature in the sport and life.

With over 1,180 athletes from over 19 communities, LUFC fields over 80 teams throughout our Stars, Juniors, Academy, Community REC, Select and TOPSoccer programs.  For those just learning the game to those aspiring to play in college and/or beyond, LUFC provides opportunities of all ability levels for youth ranging from preschool through high school.

LUFC is a division of Sheboygan Area Youth Soccer Organization (SAYSO) and is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, pursuant to the Internal Revenue Service code.  All donations and proceeds go towards fulfilling our mission of providing access and developing players and passion for "the beautiful game".

Club Philosophy

LUFC is a volunteer organization serving youth soccer players. Our club provides opportunities for players of all ability levels to enjoy the sport, as well as foster the growth and development of its members within the environment of soccer.

We continuously emphasize skill development, personal improvement, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship and commitment during our coaching sessions and the season.  LUFC values and promotes continuing soccer education, fair and competitive play, leadership development, good sportsmanship and strives to generate a love for the "beautiful game".
