Referee Training Course

Referee Training Course

Soccer Referees, we are looking forward to resuming play this Fall!

There are numerous changes to our Community Soccer Program (previously the Recreation Program) this coming fall.  Everyone must attend one of the training courses.  There are a lot of play format and rule changes to review especially for grades 1-4.  Part of being a good official is to engage in constant reviewing of the rules and reflecting on how to improve.

Course completion allows individuals to officiate Community Soccer games. If you are interested in officiating Academy or Select games, please contact the Community Soccer Refereee Coordinator, Mike Thill.

If you are interested in becoming a referee for the first time, please note the following:

  • Individuals must be at least 13
  • We do want adult referees as well
  • Most Community Soccer games are Saturday mornings
  • First games are September 12 and the Community Soccer tournament is October 2-4

Please RSVP to Mike Thill for the class which you will be attending, and you will receive a Microsoft Teams meeting invitation.
