Working from Home

March 19, 2020

These are some challenging times.  Not only have large gatherings of people been suspended or canceled, but thousands of employees and students in the area are finding themselves working from home.  While this will only be temporary, we now know that this will be our new normal for at least the next several weeks.

Lakeshore United FC has always believed that the best way for players to develop and improve their technical skills comes with touches on the ball.  This hasn't changed.  But now with the suspension of team activities, it's even more important.  So we want to do what we can to encourage all players - from beginners to advanced - to continue to work and refine their skills by doing the appropriate level drills at home.

We are launching a new Players Resource Center, which will include videos and training guides to help athletes training at home.  This is located under Resources>Players.  We will continue to build upon and enhance this area in the days and weeks to come.

In addition, we are also offering weekly challenges on our facebook page where players have the ability to participate and share with us their individual training journeys during this unique time.

We hope these resources will help our youth stay engaged, grow, and be prepared for when we can safely resume team activities.
